Primitive Calico Eggs - Set of 7

Perfect for spring or your Easter decorating are these primitive calico eggs...there are 7 different fabrics used for these eggs...they have been stuffed with fabric scraps and have decorative hand stitching on the seam lines...the eggs are 2 1/2" in length...spring is right around the corner…let’s start decorating.

Primitive Bunny Mrs. Hops

This bunny is made from osnaburg and painted black, sanded and stained. Her face is all hand stitched. She is wearing a blue flowered dress that is an old fashioned print. The carrot around her neck is handmade out of osnaburg that is wrapped and painted orange with stained green hemp for the top. I used a tfc folkart pattern to make this.

Dirty Ole' Rabbits

These grungy ol' rabbits can be made to order by me. Each one is designed to sit and is approx. 9" tall in the sitting position. They are made from fur and are stained, painted, stained, grunged, etc. for that old look we all seem to love.

Finn Primitive Leprechaun Make Do

Make-do Leprechaun 20" tall on an old candlestick, painted green with osnaburg pocket that is stamped IRISH BLESSING. I tucked in some sweet annie, orangy yarn beard & a shamrock I made painted & stained & wired to his hands, very Prim!

Folk Art Raggedy Anne Doll

This Child Friendly, hand washable, raggedy Ann is 16 1/2" tall and sits 9" high. I've made her of flesh toned fabric and she's stuffed with hypo-allergenic polyester fiberfill. Her features are hand embroidered. The nose for this doll is long stitches but I've coated the threads of the nose with an ACMI certified, non toxic product so the child cannot hook fingernails in the threads and damage the stitches. The legs are red and white striped fabric, the shoes black fabric. Her yarn hair is a merino wool/acrylic blend. It's cut into lengths, knotted and securely stitched to the doll's scalp.

The doll wears removable white pantaloons. The white. cotton blend, half apron has blue ric rac stitched above the hem and the top of the apron is stitched into the waistband of the cotton dress. The dress is hemmed with elastic on the ends of the sleeves and velcro closure at the back. The doll is signed "designed and made with love, Lucy Rox" and dated. Hand washing instructions are included with the doll. She's very easy to wash and drips dry.

These great bunnies can be displayed with your favorite doll, or placed in a basket, a bowl or other container with some grass for the perfectly prim display!! The bunnies are made from muslin and have been heavily grunged for the primitive, time worn look. They measure just a bit over 8 inches tall. They have needle sculpted noses and great thread whiskers and little seed bead eyes.
