A 15 1/2" tall snowman is leaning against an 18" tall lamp post, this measures
11" wide.. The snowman is made of cotton flannel and stuffed with polyester
fiberfill. He's lightly coffee stained and has embroidered eyes and mouth and a
painted, wooden dowel, carrot nose. The snowman wears a coat of 2 shades of blue
and 2 shades of gray wool fabric in a small plaid design. His scarf is 2 shades
of blue flannel plaid. the same fabric I used for the band on his felt top hat.
The Lamp post is a redesigned, recycled patio light and measures 6" in
diameter. I altered it so it holds a battery operated candle that uses 2 AA
batteries (included). The snowman is actually stitched to the lamp.

This Santa is created with a recycled mayonnaise jar as the lower half of his
body making him a candy container. 12 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide at the
shoulders, his head and hands are cotton fabric stuffied with polyester
fiberfill. His nose is needle sculpted and his eyes. are embroidered. His
hair and beard are clean raw wool. I've made the robe of dark cranberry red
crushed velvet with cotton batting trim. He carries a drum and a tiny jointed
teddy bear.

With winter comes the need for our fine feathered friends to find a warm cozy
home in which to hunker down in to sit out the cold winter months. Our cardinal
is busy negotiating a warm resting spot in our snowman's broom, a perfect place
to build his nest. Based on the smile on our snowman's face, I would say it's a
"yes".
Our snowman stands approximately 12" high, has a black top hat,
scarf and warm wool vest. We used a 4" antique square head rusty nail for his
nose, doll joints for his eyes, embellished him with rusty bells and pins and
gave him a grapevine broom in one hand and our 3" red cardinal friend in the
other.
Bird in the Hand is handmade by me, Laura Hakes, the original
designer. He will come to you signed and dated, with a rusty heart on his vest,
indicating he is an original Fiddlestix Design.

The evenings are always special here at Snowy Hollow Farm ... quiet &
peaceful with a comforting blanket of snow : ) This antique sewing machine
drawer is painted with a wintery scene ... perfect for the holidays but it can
also be displayed throughout the winter season. It is OOAK.
The side of
the drawer is painted with an adaptation of a Terrye French design. There's a
full white winter moon rising over a lightly snow dusted landscape. Two little
saltbox houses sleep among the leafless trees and a full coated sheep is in the
foreground. The box is filled with snow dusted greenery, berries and pine cones.
There's an altered book with a reprint of a vintage postcard decoupaged to its
front and a snow trimmed lantern where a small battery operated flickering tea
light casts a gentle glow. Measures approx 15 inches x 5 inches x 13 inches.

Santa & Reindeer~ 20" tall x 13"wide, he's a hefty fellow in his felted red
wool suit weighted to stand alone with stained warm & natural trim &
rusty jingle bells & striped mittens. Has a backpack with twigs, sweet annie
& greens. Face is osnaburg that has been stained & aged with eyelids
& tack eyes & pinched nose, sheeps wool beard. Made a reindeer from a
Kentucky Primitives pattern out of stained osnaburg , detachable & can be
used as an ornie, reindeer measures 9"long x 9" tall to top of his antlers,so

Vintage F&F Penguin Millie and Willie Salt and Pepper Shaker Set, in
excellent condition. Willie and Millie are plastic and measure approximately 3
1/2" tall. They are marked F&F Mold & Die Works, Dayton, Ohio, USA on
the bottom and have plastic stoppers, in tact.

20" tall painted Santa, sheeps wool beard, wears woolen mittens & carries
candy cane & greens, from a Sweetmeadows farm pattern.

Constructed of muslin, the witching moon stands 14" tall, 8 1/2" front to back
and 6 1/2" wide. She has a needle sculpted nose complete with a hairy mole,
stitched lips and eyebrows. She is painted green and sanded Her eyes are small
black buttons. The top of her hat is the upper end of the moon, painted black
with an attached hat brim and soft, rag strip hat band. There is a rusty tin
star dangling from the tip of her hat. She's attached to a glass candle
stick base. The base has been painted and aged until it looks like rusty iron.
There's a black rag tie around her neck and a tag with her name. The tag is
signed on the back and the moon is signed under the hat brim, "designed and
madee with love, Lucy Rox".

This is an original one of a kind fall dollie. She is made of osnaburg
that has been stained with a coffee/vanilla mixture and left to dry in the
sunshine. She wears a dress made from homespuns and cottons with a tulle
underskirt. Her face and legs are handpainted with acrylics and colored
pencils. Her hair is rafia tied with homespuns that match her top. Her
hat is burlap with a ban of homespun and a brown ribbon. She is about 26
inches long.
