Primitive Doll and her Raggedies
This grungy primitive doll measures 25 inches tall from the top of her head to the tips of her toes. I made her from osnaburg fabric. Her eyes, mouth, shoes and socks are painted with acrylics. I stained her with walnut ink and coffee. I used prisma pencils on her cheeks. I needle felted wool to her head and tied her ponytails with rusty bells. Her dress and pantaloons are made from cotton prints.

Raggedy Maggie Rose Primitive Doll
Raggedies sure tug at my heart, and this one does especially!! Raggedy Maggie Rose has a great stitched face, with old mis-matched button eyes stitched on. Her hair is raggedy red perle cotton, securely stitched to her head. She has nice rosey cheeks, too!! This collectible raggedy is wearing a most precious cotton dress in a patchwork print. Her little pantaloons are stained muslin. Raggedy has hand painted raggedy stockings, and hand painted black shoes, accented with little blue buttons.
