Individual Artist pages are almost completed

We are making some great progress on the site and most recently we are finishing up the set up of Artist pages. Each Artist will have their own page to offer their listings on and will include an area to put up their own banner/graphic header, listed items and they will also be able to include links to their other selling venue's.

The Admin area for users will be very straight forward and simple to use. It's basically a fill-in-the-blanks approach which will make it easy for anyone to use.

We are getting excited as we watch the site take shape!

What kind of Art will be featured on Prim Nest?

I'm glad you asked! There will be 3 main categories on Prim Nest as follows: Primitive, Folk Art and Vintage. We felt that simplifies things and there is actually quite a bit of different styles that fit into those categories. Let me give you some examples.

Primitive: Handmade dolls (no country cutesy or clothing for geese (:), ornaments, wool creations, penny rugs, finished quilts, stitched items, hooked rugs, wood items and prim style furniture, paintings, mixed media, collage, assemblage, primitive antiques, etc., ,

Folk Art: Original Paintings, clay sculpted figures, dolls, antiques, etc.,

Vintage: Handmade vintage style items including dolls, handmade clay figurines, aprons, original paintings, vintage quilts, antiques, vintage holidays, etc.,

Hopefully, that will give you an idea of the type and style of items you'll see on Prim Nest. Our main focus will be on original and one-of-a-kind handmade items with the focus on showcasing Artist's who do incredible work!

About Prim Nest

Prim Nest is a new web site that features Primitive, Folk Art and Vintage style items from very talented Artist's. Our mission for the web site was to bring together Artist's to give them a unique venue to sell their ware's and also give buyers a great buyer's the opportunity to purchase one-of-kind and/or unique, handmade items.

We are in the pre-launch mode and setting our sights on taking flight (launch) on March, 1st 2011. It will be an exciting day! In the meantime, we are busy on the backend of things putting our nest (web-site) together. I must say it's coming along nicely and taking shape.

Feel free to stop by http://www.primnest.com/ and sign up for our newsletter to receive notification of our launch. Also we are having a give-away of $50 cash to two lucky subscribers. Winners will be announced on our newsletter the end of March.
