Primitive Folk Art Black Doll

Ethel is 19 inches tall and sits 11inches high. She is made of muslin. Her head, arms, legs and the upper half of her body are stuffed with polyester fiberfill. The lower half of her body is stuffed with fabric trimmings (from my cutting table) to give the body weight and help her sit nicely. Her nose and mouth are needle sculpted. She was painted black, sanded and stained. The hair is beautiful raw wool from locally raised Wisconsin sheep.
There are muslin pantaloons. Her dress is stripe in shades of gray.
